1. Add 1/2 cup (keep 1/4 cup for later) vinegar and 2 TB to the bottom of the crock pot. Generously apply salt and pepper to the pork butt and add to the crock pot. Sprinkle red pepper flakes over the pork butt
2. Set crock pot on high and cook for 6-8 hours (we had ours in longer and its ok).
3. Remove pork, shred with two forks. Discard all but 1/2c juice. Put pork and 1/2 cup reserved juice back into the crock pot and add 1/4-1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar. Mix and serve!

3. Pour the mixed ingredients over the cabbage and mix well. Add more salt and pepper to taste.
4. Stir well before serving (slaw tends to separate and the juices run out. Just mix it up again and it will be fine). Serve on your BBQ sandwich or as a side item. Awesome with hushpuppies.
