1. firstly, in a large mixing bowl take 2 tbsp tamarind pulp, 1 tbsp jaggery, 1 tbsp puliyogare masala and 1 tsp salt.
2. add 1 cup water and mix well-dissolving jaggery completely. keep aside.
3. now in a blender take 1¼ cup thick poha.
4. blend to coarse powder without adding any water.

2. Dry roast poha(beaten rice) for 2 minutes and powder to coarse,using dry mixer jar in pulse mode for not more than 5 seconds repeat twice so that poha should be corse and should look similar to dalia (Broken Wheat).
3. After 15 minutes, Extract the tamarind juice,discard the residue .
4. In Tamarind juice , add rasam / sambar powder,hing,jaggery and 1 tsp salt and stir it well.
