Open 10 lip balm containers and arrange tubes on a small paper plate. I also use these 3 ounce round containers for extra lip balm mixture that won’t completely fill a tube.
2. Combine ingredientsIn a small fry pan over low to medium heat melt together the beeswax, solid coconut oil, jojoba oil and shea butter.Remove from heat and add mica powder.
3. Add Mica PowderAdd 1/8th teaspoon of your favorite color mica powder to the melted ingredients and stir using a wooden stick until well combined.
4. Fill lip balm containersUsing a glass dropper, fill each lip balm container as full as you can without overflowing (if the mixture begins to thicken reheat and continue filling containers). The lip balm will shrink as it cools and may leave a hole down the middle so don’t panic if that happens.Allow tubes to rest for 5 minutes before handling.
