Cream Cheese Kolaches If cream cheese is your thing, this is the kolache recipe for you. They take less than two hours to make and overflow with sweet-n-tangy goodness. These are also thinner than some of the other recipes. So, these may be the better option if you’re looking to cut down on carbs. (They still aren’t low-carb, of course.)
To Make Dough And assemble Kolaches Dissolve yeast in the 1/2 cup warm water in a tall glass, sprinkle with 1 teaspoon sugar and set aside to proof.
