3. Transfer the cleaned chilies to a blender along with the garlic cloves.
4. Strain the cooking liquid to remove any seeds that may have remained behind and add about 1 cup of the liquid to the blender. Process until you have a thick, smooth sauce. If your sauce seems too thick add more cooking liquid.
