2. Now, add the chana dal and stir fry them. Add the roughly chopped green chillies as well. Turn off the flame and let them cool down.
3. Once cooled, add them to the food processor and along with the salt, tamarind paste, coriander leaves, jaggery, lemon juice and water as required. Blend them into a smooth puree.
4. Transfer to a small bowl and serve. You can also store it in the fridge in an airtight jar for 3-4 days.
