Nothing is easier or more delicious than a beautiful, caramelized Baked Ham, especially with this pineapple brown sugar glaze on top. Take ham out of the refrigerator 1-2 hours before baking to allow it to come to room temperature. Meanwhile, make the glaze. In a saucepan combine pineapple tidbits, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cloves.
Pour the juice from 1 can of pineapple into the bottom of the pan. Don’t pour the juice over the ham because it will wash off the brown sugar. Cover the ham with aluminum foil, secure it around the roaster, and let hang out in the fridge overnight, or for at least 8 hours. The next day, remove the ham from the refrigerator.
I used a 6lb. bone-in spiral sliced ham for this crock pot brown sugar pineapple hame recipe, but you can certainly use any ham that you prefer. Whether it’s spiral sliced or not, bone-in or bone-out—it’s up to you! The important part is that yummy sauce created from the pineapple, brown sugar and maple syrup. It’s just SO yummy.
This low carb Glazed Ham is a real showstopper! It's super easy to make and has the perfect combination of salty and sweet, all with no added sugar! Saved!
