This fruit infused water recipe takes no time to make and will have everyone talking! Wash and thinly slice the orange and strawberries. Add the fruit and herbs to the bottom of a pitcher. Use a wooden spoon to lightly muddle (mash) them several times to release the juices. Add the cold water.
Take 15-20 strawberries and wash and slice them finely before adding into an infusion jar. Now slice a fresh lemon and slice it without peeling its rind and add to the jar. Now fill the jar with water and stir it gently. Put this jar in your fridge for a few hours or overnight to get the best lemon and strawberry fruit infused water.
Add the fruit and herbs to a pitcher or container, then pour in the water. For stronger more intense flavor, muddle or bruise the fruit and herbs using the handle of a spatula before adding to the container. Allow the water to infuse for a minimum of 6 hours and up to 12 hours in the refrigerator.
This fruit infused water recipe is perfect for entertaining. It’s also incredibly refreshing! The lightly sweet, aromatic flavor of this fruit infused water is reason alone. But also, drinking loads of water is always a good thing! It’s fantastic for your health.
