1. Using kitchen shears, cut down the center of the lobster tail all the way to the base of the tail. Carefully crack open the lobster to expose the meat underneath, then slide your finger on the underside of the meat to loosen it from the bottom of the shell. Pop the meat up and above the shell so it lays gently on the outer shell but is still connected to the tail. Sprinkle the lobster tails with Old Bay seasoning, then set aside.
2. Pour water into Instant Pot®and add the trivet, garlic, and salt.
3. Place lobsters onto the trivet.
4. Close the lid, turn the knob to Sealing.

1. If the lobster tails are frozen, allow them to fully thaw before preparing.
2. Step 1: Hold the lobster tail in one hand with the top of the hard shell facing up. Then, using kitchen shears, start in the center at the open end of the tail, placing the bottom point of the open shears into the center of the meat, and then cut lengthwise through the top of the shell and halfway into the meat, stopping just before the end of the tail.
3. Add Water and Salt: Pour the water into the pot, add salt to the water, and mix until the salt has dissolved.
4. Set Cook Time: Place the pressure release valve in the 'Sealing' position and set the Instant Pot to cook on 'Manual' or 'Pressure Cook', 'Low Pressure', for 2 minutes. I cook on 'Low Pressure' to prevent overcooking of the lobster meat.

1. Cut the lobster tails on the rounded side down to the fan of the tail. Carefully, pop meat out of the tail. Rinse under cold water to remove any grit or shell. Repeat until all the lobster tails have been cut. Using a steamer basket or trivet place in the Instant Pot. Place the tails on top, then pour in 1 cup of water.
2. Close lid and place steam valve to "sealed". Cook on "steam" for 2 minutes. *See notes on cooking frozen below. It will take 2-3 minutes to come to pressure then 2 minutes to cook.
3. Once the tails are done cooking and the timer beeps, carefully force pressure from the valve *this will take about 1 minutes. Carefully, unlock the lid and remove the lobster tails. Brush each piece of meat with a little bit of melted butter. Serve with lemon wedges and melted butter. Enjoy immediately.
