1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Grease and line a 4 inch square pan.
2. Combine the date paste, water and baking soda in a saucepan and heat on low flame. The mixture will start bubbling. Break down the paste into a smooth mixture. Set aside.
3. Melt the butter, brown sugar and golden syrup into a smooth mixture. Add the oats and toss well to combine.
4. Add half the oats mixture into the preparped pan and press down.

1. Blend half of the oats until finely ground and then mix them with the remaining oat flakes, chopped hazelnuts and walnuts, sunflower seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon, and baobab powder.
2. Blitz the dates into a paste, mash the bananas and add them to the oat mix. Then, pour warm milk and vanilla extract and mix well. Knead until the dough comes together.
3. Transfer the flapjack dough into a square tray lined with baking paper flattening it down with a spatula. Bake at 180°C (355°F) for 25 minutes. Allow to cool down on a wire rack and then cut the flapjack into squares or bars. Enjoy!
