These Gluten Free Profiteroles are crispy, light, perfectly sweetened, bursting with creamy pastry cream and so delicious! Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Combine the butter, water, milk, salt, and granulated sugar together in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir until the butter has melted.
These profiteroles are filled with a gorgeous vanilla crème Chantilly and covered in chocolate sauce, making these little puffs a pure treat. Put the butter, sugar and salt for the profiteroles in a pan with 250ml of water and bring to a simmer.
Bake for 22-25 minutes, rotating the tray half-way through baking, until puffed and golden-brown. Remove the pan from the oven and use a small knife or skewer to pierce, once, into the side of each profiterole. Place the pan back into the oven, leaving the oven door slightly open, for 4 minutes.
