Preheat oven to 350. In large bowl, stir eggs, sugar, syrup, butter, and vanilla until well blended. Sometimes I use an electric mixer, and sometimes I stir by hand. Either way is fine. Stir in pecans and pour into pie crust. Bake 50 to 55 minutes or until a table knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Cool on wire rack.
