Starbucks Passion Tea Lemonade, this copycat Starbucks recipe is so easy to make at home yourself that you won't need to go the to the coffee shop to get you
Enjoy your summer days with a fresh glass of this passion tea lemonade starbucks copycat. The best part is the recipe doesn't have any refined sugar. In a large heat-safe pitcher, brew the tea by adding the tea bags to the hot water. Let cool for at least 10 minutes and remove the tea bags.
In a small pot combine 2 cups of water and the sugar. Heat over high heat just until all of the sugar has dissolved. Remove the mixture from the heat and allow it to cool. In a large pitcher combined the remaining water, lemon juice, passion fruit, and the sugar syrup. Mix until well combined then add ice to the top of the pitcher.
The amount of sugar between the Starbucks version and mine is pretty close, but my passion tea lemonade does have less sugar overall. Plus, the sugars are fructose, so they're natural versus refined. Starbucks’ passion tea lemonade contains 33 grams of sugar, while this one only contains 29 grams.
We find using a higher quality lemonade really makes our Starbucks passion tea lemonade shine. If you want to go for something super traditional and slightly different, use cloudy ‘flat’ lemonade. You could even consider making your own. This tip is quite important.
