Thankfully, there are plenty of ways to enjoy low carb living without meat.
First on our list of delicious low carb recipes, is this flavoursome mashed peas and spinach with grilled tuna steak. Swapping mashed potatoes for butter beans, spinach and peas lowers the carbs but ensures you’re still getting a good dose of fiber and protein thanks to the butter beans.
Typically, a high-protein, low-carb diet does not exclude the consumption of low-carb vegetables, but many dieters have trouble distinguishing which vegetables are acceptable.
You may have noticed some overlap — there are plenty of veggies that are also proteins and carbs. Beans are a great example. If you have dietary restrictions, make a list (or circle the ones on my list) of what you CAN eat instead of focusing on what you can’t.
