Total Time: 25 minsCategory: Breakfast, Dessert, SnackCalories: 124 per serving1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spread hazelnuts in an even layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes until toasted. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 1-2 minutes.
2. Transfer hazelnuts to a clean kitchen towel. Using the towel, rub the hazelnuts together to remove as much of the skins as possible. Once complete, place hazelnuts in the bowl of a food processor.
3. Process hazelnuts, stopping occasionally to wipe down sides, until it goes from crumbly to a creamier consistency. Once hazelnuts start to turn into butter, add the remaining ingredients. Process until chocolate hazelnut butter is completely smooth.
4. Store chocolate hazelnut spread in an airtight jar in the refrigerator. The spread will thicken as it chills. Before using, stir to reintegrate. Chocolate hazelnut spread can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Calories: 218 per servingCategory: Breakfast, Dessert, Snack1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (177 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Arrange the hazelnuts in a single layer on the baking sheet. Roast for 8-10 minutes, until they are browned and fragrant.
3. Place the hazelnuts into a large container or bowl with a lid. Shake vigorously to remove loose skins. Repeat the process as needed, setting aside hazelnuts that already have their skins removed, until most of the skins are off. (Alternatively, rub the hazelnuts inside a folded towel to remove the skins.)
4. Place the skinned hazelnuts into a high-power blender, like the Blendtec 625. Process for 1-3 minutes, scraping the sides as needed, until the nuts begin to release oil and then form a smooth nut butter. (The Blendtec Twister Jar works well for this - just turn the lid counterclockwise as the blender runs.)
