For the donair meat, I modified this recipe by subbing in coconut flour for the regular flour. 1 cup of sour cream 1 tbsp of garlic powder 1 tsp of oregano 3 tbsp of granulated sweetener (I used Splenda)
Seasoning – The bold, captivating flavors of the Donair come from the perfect blend between ground coriander, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, salt and ground black pepper. Sauce – There are 2 versions of this sauce, one that’s using evaporated milk and one that uses sweetened condensed milk.
DONAIR SAUCE: Open the can of milk pour it into a steel or glass bowl (not plastic--it won't set up properly in plastic). Pour the sugar & garlic powder in; mix this together well. Slowly add the vinegar and mix this together slowly. (If you mix the vinegar in too fast it won't thicken up properly). Once this is done cover and refrigerate.
If you like lamb, you can still use it or even blend it with some beef. Seasoning – The bold, captivating flavors of the Donair come from the perfect blend between ground coriander, onion powder, garlic powder, dried oregano, dried thyme, cayenne pepper, salt and ground black pepper.
