Category: DinnerCuisine: ItalianTotal Time: 30 mins1. Preheat the oven to 350 F and fill a medium saucepan with water, bringing it to a boil on high. Once the water starts boiling, add a pinch of salt, followed by the tortellini. Cook until the tortellini floats to the top, about 6-8 minutes (longer if cooking from frozen).
2. Drain the tortellini and let the pasta sit in the strainer until all of the water has completely drained out, 1-2 minutes. Combine the pasta with the marinara sauce in an 8×8 or 11×7 pan. The tortellini should be in a nearly single layer in the dish. Top the tortellini with the freshly grated cheese, then place it in the oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling on top. Switch the oven to broil for 5-6 minutes or until browned. Serve immediately, with a side salad!
