This easy homemade playdough recipe with cream of tartar is soft and non-sticky making it perfect for hours of play. Pour all ingredients in a saucepan and stir until combined. Turn on heat to medium and continue to stir. Once playdough balls up on the spoon take off the heat and continue to stir.
Mix everything (except the food coloring) in a pan over medium heat until it starts to get thick – which will happen in minutes. Then add the food coloring and keep stirring for around two more minutes. When it starts to look like playdough, you’re done.
Making playdough in your home kitchen in easier than you imagined. Just a couple of ingredients and a few minutes of your time saves you money and creates lasting memories! In a medium to large sized saucepan, mix together the water and vegetable oil. Stir in the flour, salt and cream of tartar.
