It's a great base recipe for chocolatey fudge. I substituted 1/2 the walnuts for cacao nibs and it was great. Sometimes I like to drizzle it with PB2 mixed with MCT oil for a peanutbutter topping, too! (Just remember to count the carbs in the PB2) Reply Kate September 07, 2017 at 1:21 pm Made this tonight.
They are nothing like fudge. It basically tasted like chocolate cream cheese. My sister in law (who's also Keto) didn't think they were great either and would describe it as mousse. Will not make them again Reply
You could substitute granulated Pyure, but be careful about substituting other erythritol sweetener as you may have trouble with the sweetener giving the fudge a granular texture if you need to use a larger quantity to achieve the same level of sweetness. Pyure is twice as sweet as sugar.
