3. Pour the marinade over the steak inside the ziploc bag; seal the bag and massage the marinade all around the steak. Set aside for 1 hour to marinate, OR refrigerate for up to 8 hours.
4. Take the steak out of the fridge 20 minutes before you’re ready to cook.

3. Heat a well-seasoned cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot, about 3 minutes.
4. Remove the steak from the bag and pat dry with paper towels. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the steak in the hot skillet. Cook it 3 minutes, without moving. Flip to the other side (it should be deeply browned and slightly charred on the first side) and cook 3 more minutes, again without moving it.
