In the meantime crush the garlic cloves with a knife and mix together with the caraway seed until you have almost a paste. Add to the onions.
2. Remove the pot from the heat and add the paprika powder. Stir thoroughly. Now add all of the meat and mix together with the onion paprika mixture. Add 1 cup of the vegetable broth and let cook covered for 20 minutes until the meat is almost cooked.
3. Now add the carrots, bell peppers, celery and tomatoes. Pour in the remaining vegetable broth and let come to a boil. Add the peeled and cubed potatoes. Then turn down the heat and let simmer for 30 minutes and until the potatoes are cooked.
4. Season with salt and pepper and maybe even some hot paprika powder if you like it spicy. Serve with a dollop of sour cream and some crusty french baguette. Enjoy!
