1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate with olive oil and place it on a foil-lined baking sheet (to catch any drips while baking).
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs. Whisk in the kosher salt, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano and cayenne.
3. Whisk in the Dijon mustard and the tomato paste. Set the egg mixture aside.
4. Heat a large stainless steel skillet over medium heat. You can add some oil if you want, but I find it unnecessary as the beef releases quite a bit of fat. Add the ground beef and cook, stirring often and breaking it up as it cooks, until no longer raw but still slightly pink, about 5 minutes. Drain. Allow to slightly cool.

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F Mix together the flax meal, almond flour and salt. In a separate microwave-safe container, melt the butter in a microwave and stir in the Splenda. Now mix both together thoroughly.
2. This batter will be a soft goo. Spread the batter out with a spatula into a 9" pie plate. Cook it for about 12 minutes at 375F, or until the crust is relatively firm and a bit on the brownish side. Let it cool thoroughly.
3. This recipe is great for making ahead of time and freezing, then pulling out when you have a pie you want to make. Put the crust in the fridge for about an hour before using it, so that the dough is nice and firm before you add in the pie ingredients.
4. If you divide your pie up into 8 slices, each slice will have about 2g in net carbs from the pie crust material. Compare that with many commercial pie crusts which can reach 10g or more per slice! It's definitely worth it to make your own pie crusts, no matter what kind of a diet you are on. It saves you money, too!

1. Turn your oven to 250C (480F).
2. Heat a large frying pan on a medium high heat. Add beef and cook, stirring often for about 5 minutes or until beef is well browned. Remove beef from the pan, leaving as much as the fat behind as possible.
3. Slice mushrooms about 1cm (1/2in) thick. Add to the pan with the beef fat and cook for another 5 minutes or until mushrooms are dark grey and soft. If your beef was quite lean you may like to add a little oil or butter to cook the mushrooms.
4. When the mushrooms are cooked remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the cooked beef, cream, tomato passata and a big pinch salt. Taste and season with more salt if needed.
