1. Preheat the oven to 425.
2. Roll out pie crust and line the bottom of a pie plate with the dough.
3. Combine the apples, Ocean Spray® cranberries, sugar, cinnamon, all-purpose flour, finely grated lemon zest, salt thoroughly in a bowl. I love adding a hint of salt to sweet items! It just enhances the flavors!
4. Fill your crust lined pie plate with the apple cranberry mixture and dot with the butter. It is a running joke in our house that we always forget the butter! Because, we alway do! Just don't forget the butter.

1. Prepare my pie crust recipe through step 5.
2. Stir the apples, cranberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg together in a large bowl. Set filling aside as the oven preheats.
3. Preheat oven to 400°F (204°C).
4. On a floured work surface, roll out one of the discs of chilled dough (keep the other one in the refrigerator). Turn the dough about a quarter turn after every few rolls until you have a circle 12 inches in diameter. Carefully place the dough into a 9×2 inch pie dish. Tuck it in with your fingers, making sure it is smooth. Spoon the filling into the crust, leaving any excess liquid in the bowl (you don’t want that in the filling– discard it). Dot the pieces of butter on top of the filling. Stick in the refrigerator until ready to cut the lattice.
