But what many people don’t realize is that sugar cookies make a fabulous base for other types of cookies as well. In fact, I made two other types of cookies using this recipes as a base (Lemon and Chocolate Chip).
These simple cookies mix up quickly with only three ingredients and have no added sugar. Preheat oven to 350F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or silicone liner and set aside. Wash and dry apple. Can be peeled or left intact - either way is fine. (I didn't peel mine.) Core apple and cut into chunks.
These also worked out to be super low calorie and low carb (despite what people may think about apples on keto). Each apple fritter cookie has 2 NET carbs and just 100 calories. The cookies are a good size too!
