The Discovery -owned cable network said it will unveil an eight-episode series with the working title “Amy Schumer Learns to Cook.” The show will feature Schumer and her husband, professional chef Chris Fischer, in thirty-minute self-shot episodes that show the pair cooking dishes while isolated due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“Watching Amy and Chris is intimate, real, fun and just great TV,” Courtney White, president of the Food Network said via a press release. “The nanny holds the camera, as Chris makes incredibly delicious food and Amy’s sharp wit delivers laugh out loud moments all the way through.
Though Fischer is a trained chef, his spouse isn’t quite as skilled in the kitchen —at least not yet. “Watching Amy and Chris is intimate, real, fun and just great TV,” Courtney White, president of the Food Network said via a press release.
