1. Take 1.5 to 2 cups cooked chickpeas or chana in a mixing bowl. To cook the dried chickpeas, soak 1/2 cup dried chickpeas overnight in enough water. Drain very well.

1. Wash, peel and boil the potatoes till tender. Drain the potatoes, and cut into small cubes. Set aside.

4. Once the cumin seeds turn golden and release their aroma, add the boiled chickpeas and fry for about 3 minutes.
