Sprinkle pre-shredded/grated mozzarella cheese, cheddar cheese and bagel seasoning over the top for a crunchy crust topper. You can use this recipe to make smoked salmon keto mini quiches. Bake in oiled muffin cases (brush with olive oil) and bake the crust for 5-10 minutes, then bake the filing for 15 minutes.
Add salmon and shredded mozzarella cheese to the egg mixture. Pour into a frozen deep dish pie crust. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Let rest for 10 to 15 minutes before cutting. Salmon quiche is a new version of a classic quiche using canned salmon, mozzarella cheese, eggs and heavy cream.
In the same bowl or jug, whisk the eggs, almond milk, salt and pepper. Pour evenly over the cheesy broccoli-salmon mix in the pan. Sprinkle the remaining tablespoon of sunflower seeds and a little smoked paprika over the top of each quiche.
All the usual suspects here – eggs, cream, a bit of cheese (it’s not intended to be cheesy, just adds a bit of richness + flavour). Just a note on a few of the ingredients: Smoked salmon – as mentioned above, this will yield the best overall flavour in the quiche but raw salmon or hot smoked salmon will also work great;
