Dehydrate at between 120F and 130F for 8 to 12 hours (time needed depends on how thick your sweet potato slices are) You can make your dehydrated sweet potato dog treats any size you want, although don't cut them too thick or the won't dry properly. I'd suggest 1/4" as maximum thickness.
By using raw vegetables, or raw LEAN meat (fatty meat does not dehydrate well) your dehydrated dog treats can make delicious, low calorie goodies for dogs who need to watch their waistlines.
