1. In a small sauce pan on medium heat, add the butter or coconut oil. Once melted, add the apples, pure maple syrup, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg and sauté for a few minutes until softened.
2. Remove the apples from the saucepan and place them into a bowl.
3. In the same saucepan on medium heat, add the oats, milk, water and stir to combine. Bring the oats to a boil and reduce the heat. Add in the cinnamon, nutmeg, honey and cinnamon. Stir until combined and let the oats simmer for about 5 minutes.
4. Once the oats are cooked, add them to a bowl and top with the apples and any other toppings you prefer. Enjoy!
