Pan Seared Salmon are super crispy on the outside, while soft, tender and flakey on the inside, finished with a silky, flavourful buttery sauce. Our family favourite low carb salmon recipe is now yours!
Instructions Season the salmon with the salt and a few grinds of pepper. Heat the oil in a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot and shimmering. Cook the salmon, without moving, skin side up, until golden and crisp, about 4 minutes.
Then, heat the oil until it's hot. Next, add the salmon to the pan skin side down, and cook it like this until it's 80% cooked - about 7 minutes, or around an internal temp of 100°F. Once it's cooked, flip the salmon over and cook it flesh side down until the remaining 20% fully cooks - around 2 or 3 minutes, or around an internal temp of 145°F.
If you want to reheat, heat a pan over medium heat, put salmon in skin side down for a few minutes, flip to flesh side for 30-60 seconds, and enjoy! For all recipes, visit us here . JOIN MY FREE E-MAIL LIST HERE. This 15-minute crispy pan seared salmon will quickly become a go-to dinner!
