This is an orange fluff jello salad with tapioca, crushed pineapple and mandarin oranges. This easy dessert is all blended together with a creamy Cool Whip, otherwise known as whipped topping. It kinda tastes like an orange pineapple creamsicle, except – fluff. Dreamy, right??? When we were kids, my Mom called it a salad.
Strawberry: Use strawberry Jello and 2 cups of fresh strawberries. Christmas Jello Fluff: Use lime jello and drained/dried maraschino cherries. Low Calorie: Use sugar free Jello, fat free cottage cheese and sugar free Cool Whip. Patriotic Fluff: Use blue raspberry Jello (or a red Jello) and blueberries or strawberries.
Place the cottage cheese in a large bowl. Sprinkle the Jello powder overtop. Mix well. Add the drained pineapple and oranges. Mix well. Fold in the Cool Whip and mini marshmallows.
