Sprinkle generously with all-purpose flour. (about 1/2 cup or so). This will help absorb some of the moisture from the filling. Sprinkle generously with ground cinnamon.
4. Heat canola oil in a large cast iron skillet to 375 degrees F. Use a digital thermometer to monitor the temperature of your oil.
