The ingredients for this low carb shrimp recipe are very simple, 32 oz of peeled and deveined shrimp, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 2 tablespoons of Old Bay Seasoning and half of a freshly squeezed lemon.
Cook pasta according to package directions for al dente. Reserve about 1/4 cup pasta water before draining. In a bowl, toss shrimp with Old Bay seasoning until evenly coated. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Working in batches, sauté shrimp until no longer pink. Remove from pan and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.
1) Gather all the ingredients. 2) Grate garlic with a grater and set aside. 3) Prepare shrimp by deveining, peeling, drying off any liquid with a paper towel and transferring to a mixing bowl. 4) Combine Old Bay Seasoning and cayenne pepper in a clean mixing bowl. Once combined, sprinkle onto prepared shrimp and mix until evenly coated.
You can do either, or even just eat the shrimp plain with an extra dusting of Old Bay. Bring the water, vinegar, and Old Bay to a rolling boil in a large pot over high heat. Once the Old Bay mixture is boiling, reduce to medium heat and drop a steamer basket into the pot.
