2. In a large mixing bowl of an electric mixer (or using a hand mixer), cream together the butter and the icing sugar until pale and fluffy.
3. Sift over the plain flour, baking powder and custard powder.
4. Stir together until a soft dough forms. You may have to lightly knead the dough with your fingertips to fully bring it together. If the dough is too crumbly, add 1-2 tbsp of milk until it comes together.
