2. Bring a 5-6 quart pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook for 5-6 minutes. The pasta should still have a bite to it after it cooks. This helps keep the pasta from getting mushy.
3. Drain the pasta and rinse. Place the pasta into a 9 x13 baking dish.
4. While the pasta is cooking, use a medium pan to cook the chicken sausage until no longer pink and cooked all the way through, about 7-9 minutes. As the sausage cooks break it into small pieces. When the sausage is cooked place it into the baking dish along with the pasta.

Add minced garlic, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper and sautee another minute. Add 5 cups marinara, bring to a simmer and continue cooking 5 minutes then turn off the heat.
3. Spread a ladle of meat sauce over the bottom of a 9x13 casserole dish.
4. Into the remaining sauce, add chopped basil and spoon in ricotta. Add cooked pasta and stir just until noodles are coated (you want to keep that ricotta texture)

4. Stir in ground turkey, tomatoes + spices to pasta/cheese mixture. Pour pasta mixture into 9x13 baking dish. Sprinkle remaining cup of mozzarella cheese on top of the pasta mixture.
