It affects the background as well as the appearance of the game window and causes spawning of Wrinklers and Wrath Cookies. Its name is a portmanteau of grandma and apocalypse.

Once you click the first one, another Wrath Cookie will spawn and fade away quickly, clicking this one will give more cookies and continue the chain.
