These recipes are meant to be used in a cold-air diffuser. Most cold-air diffusers require water as well. I use about 2-6 drops {and sometimes up to 10 drops} of essential oils per use in this type of diffuser.
Using Vodka adds a significant amount of cost to your diffuser. I mixed about 1/4 cup of sweet almond with about 2 -3 tablespoons of 90% rubbing alcohol with .33 fl oz of essential oils. I then added about 12 reed rattan sticks. I made sure that the carrier oil and the rubbing alcohol was mixed very well before adding the essential oils.
