  • Czech Pilsner
Czech Pilsner is the original pilsner, it’s characterized by a light to medium body, a crisp and refreshing finish with a nice balance of hops. The most recognizable hops in this style are Saaz.
  • German Pilsner
German Pilsner is similar to Czech Pilsner, but it’s known for being more bitter due to the higher amount of bittering hops. For German Pilsners, you can use Hallertau and Tettnang for more distinctive characters, but Saaz fits in quite well too as long as you increase the bitterness.
