Frequently Asked Questions

How do you cook spaghetti with harissa?

Stir in the harissa, yogurt and some seasoning, and keep warm. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti following pack instructions, then drain well, reserving a little of the pasta water.

Is harissa paste keto friendly?

Harissa paste is one of the many low-carb basics I make at home. This popular North African spice blend adds fantastic flavour to vegetables and meats. I like using it for marinating chicken, spicing up cauli-rice, or even mixing it with olive oil or full-fat yogurt and use as keto friendly salad dressing.

What are the best spices for a low carb diet?

A perfect way to enhance these often bland diet options is by using a robust spice or sauce. Harissa, Romesco or Chimichurri are three sauces that are fairly easy to make and can result in a huge difference in the flavor or your meals, whether you are low carb or not!
