1. Let salmon rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes. While they’re resting, preheat oven to 450°F and line a medium baking pan with foil or prep an oven safe cast iron pan and set aside.
2. Next, prep the marinade. In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, coconut aminos (or soy sauce), garlic and lime juice. Set aside.
3. After resting, pat salmon dry with a paper towel and place skin-side down on prepared baking sheet or pan and season with salt and pepper. Coat each salmon filet with the prepared glaze, leaving some left to drizzle after baking.
4. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 15-18 minutes or until the center of the thickest filet reads 135-140°F. Turn the oven to broil and broil for 2-3 minutes or until the salmon gets a little crispy on top.

1. Place the salmon filets in a large zipped-top bag. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger together in a medium bowl (I added a sprinkle of dried parsley for color– try chopped scallion!). Pour half of this sauce over the salmon filets, coating them thoroughly. Refrigerate for 15 minutes or up to 4 hours.
2. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
3. Line the marinated salmon filets on the baking sheet. You can hold onto this used marinade– see step 5. Bake for 15-20 minutes depending on thickness (about 10 minutes per 1-inch inch thickness– measured from the thickest part of the filet). You can broil the salmon for the last 3 minutes for crispier edges.
4. Meanwhile, begin steaming the broccoli and reducing the glaze. First, the broccoli: fill a large saucepan with 1 inch of water. If you have a steamer, place it inside. Bring water to a boil. Add the broccoli. Cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook for 6-7 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and tender.

1. Place a rack in the center of your oven and preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking dish large enough to hold the salmon in an even layer (such as a 9x13-inch baking dish) with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
2. While the oven heats, combine the honey, garlic, soy sauce, vinegar, and red pepper in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, then turn the heat to medium low and simmer, stirring often, until thickened but still pourable, about 3 minutes. The mixture will bubble up as it heats. Let cool 3 minutes.
3. With paper towels, pat the salmon fillets dry. Arrange the fillets evenly in the pan, ensuring that they are not overcrowded.
4. Brush the fillets with the olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
