4. Once the cakes are cooled, remove them from the pans. Using the cake leveler, cut the domes off the tops of the cakes to even them out

1. In a stand mixer, whip the softened butter and shortening on medium speed for 2-3 minutes until it is almost white in appearance. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
2. Add the vanilla and powdered sugar. Mix on low speed until the powdered sugar is all incorporated. Scrape the sides of the bowl as needed.
3. Add in the heavy cream, one tablespoon at a time, and beat the frosting on medium speed until the frosting has reached the consistency that you like. (I used 6-7 tablespoons of cream).
4. Add the Oreo cookies to the frosting, 3 at a time, and beat on medium-low speed until they are all broken up and blended in.

4. Add canola oil and stir until combined, then add sour cream and vanilla extract and stir on low-speed until completely combined. With mixer still on low-speed, add milk until combined.
