Pour into a greased 13x9-in. pan. In a large skillet, cook beef, sausage, sugar, oregano and basil over medium heat until meat is cooked. Drain and stir in spaghetti sauce and tomato sauce. Spoon over the spaghetti mixture. Bake for 15 minutes. Sprinkle with the cheese and fresh basil and cook an additional 15 minutes.
This baked spaghetti is basically a casserole made with spaghetti, Bolognese sauce and a thick melted cheese layer on top. Some people also like to add some béchamel sauce or alfredo sauce to the mix but I prefer how this comes out with just Bolognese.
In pasta pot, melt margarine. Stir in parmesan cheese, then add pasta back into pan. Beat eggs with milk and toss with pasta mixture. Press pasta in pan evenly. Top with sauce mixture, spreading to the edges. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Top with cheeses and bake additional 15 minutes until cheese starts to melt and brown.
