If you want to try this in the oven, rub the short ribs with the bbq seasoning and place in a baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 3 hours in a 300 °F oven. Take off the foil for the last 1/2 hour. I’ve made a low carb bbq sauce for lots of my recipes.
Remove and set aside while browning the rest fo the meat. Add beef broth to slow cooker and place short ribs into crock pot. To the same skillet add your remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Cook for 5 minutes or until onion is tender. Pour this over the ribs in the crock pot. Cover and cook on high 4-6 hours or low 8-10 hours.
Once hot, add the avocado oil, then brown the short ribs on all sides, about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove the short ribs from the pan and set aside. Next, add the onion, celery, and garlic, then cook for 4 minutes. Add the broth and red wine to a pan and bring to a boil. Cook for 4 minutes. Return the ribs to the pan along with the fresh rosemary.
I suggest cooking your Keto Beef Ribs on low for 7 to 8 hours to make them as tender as possible. If you prefer to cook on high, reduce the cook time to 4 to 5 hours.
