1. In a large bowl, mix salt and masa harina together. Pour 1 1/2 cups water into the mixture and stir until a ball forms. The dough will feel firm and springy.
2. Preheat skillet on medium-high heat.
3. Form a golf ball sized ball of dough. Place between plastic wrap or parchment paper and flatten using a tortilla press.
4. Gently remove the tortilla from the press and cook in hot skillet for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Flip and cook the other side for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
