1. Start the water for the fettuccine pasta. Cook as per package directions until just shy of al dente (it will be added to the sauce later and will continue to cook). If the pasta is done too early, drain and set aside while reserving 1 cup of the cooking liquid just in case the sauce is too thick.
2. As the pasta is cooking, make the chicken. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with 2 Tablespoons of oil. Place the flour in a small dish or plate and season with 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
3. Lightly dredge the chicken in the flour to fully coat. Shake off excess flour. When the skillet and oil are hot, add the chicken. Cook approximately 5 minutes per side until browned and the chicken is cooked through. Set the chicken aside.
4. Make the sauce (I like to use the now empty pasta pot). Melt the butter in the pot over medium heat.

1. Place flour, salt, and pepper into a shallow dish and mix well with a fork. Place milk in a shallow dish. Dredge the chicken first in flour, then dip into milk, and then dredge again in the flour.
2. Place breaded chicken on a rack and allow to rest 10 minutes before cooking. While the chicken is resting, cut peppers, onions, and garlic. Saute the peppers, onions, and garlic in a large heavy-bottomed skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Season the peppers, onions, and garlic with a light sprinkling of salt. Saute until peppers begin to brown. Remove from skillet.
3. Place the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a hot skillet. Place the chicken in skillet. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side until the chicken has browned on both sides. Remove chicken from pan. Deglaze the pan by adding white wine to the pan and add Italian seasoning blend. Use a spoon to scrape the browned bits off the bottom of the pan. Add heavy cream and mix well. Return cooked vegetables to the pan and stir. Add cooked pasta to the skillet. Plate the pasta and sauce, placing a few pieces of cooked chicken with each plate.

1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Heat 4 tablespoons of the butter in a large sauté pan, over medium-high heat. Once melted, add the chicken and pan-sear on both sides until they are a nice golden brown, about 3 minutes each side. Remove the chicken from the pan, cover and set aside (Chicken will not be fully cooked at this stage.)
2. Using the same pan, reduce the heat to medium and add remaining 2 tablespoons of butter, the garlic and the onions. Sauté until the onions are tender and the garlic is fragrant.
3. De-glaze the pan with chicken stock. Using a rubber spatula, scrape off and mix in any bits that are stuck to the bottom of the pan. Add the Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to low to simmer. Let simmer 2 to 3 minutes.
4. Add heavy cream and allow to simmer 5 to 10 minutes to allow sauce to begin thickening. Mix in Parmesan cheese, sea salt and black pepper to taste.
