I used this recipe tonight for a quick go to dessert…. A Huge Hit!!! thank you for everyone's comments…due to your comments I added 1/4 cup butter shortening, I did the 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, I added an additional 1/2 tsp vanilla, I added just enough buttermilk to moisten, then I used mini chocolate chips, chopped pecans and coconut.
