Just cook some of the butter with sweetener and cream. Add the rest of the butter, vanilla, salt, and your toasted pecans. Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and let them cool. That's it! How do I know when my keto pecan pralines are done? The photo above is a good representation of the color you are looking for when cooking this praline recipe.
For these sugar free pecan pralines we thought it would be best to use Lakanto’s Golden Monkfruit. This sweetener is the keto equivalent of brown sugar, and it works PERFECTLY in these keto pralines! Though we do recommend Golden Monkfruit for this recipe, pretty much any sweeter will work.
Combine sweetener, butter, cinnamon, heavy cream, and vanilla extract into a skillet or saucepan and stir over medium heat until sweetener is completely dissolved. Let mixture cook until well thickened; be sure to stir constantly to avoid burning. Add in roasted pecans. Stir so that all pecans are coated with mixture.
Pralines are a favorite old-timey candy! Preheat oven to 300 degrees and place pecans on a sheet pan. Toast for 10 minutes and set aside. In a large sauce pan over medium heat, combine sweetener, butter, cinnamon, heavy cream, and vanilla. Slowly stir until sweetener is dissolved and is a deep golden brown color (6-8 mins).
