2. In a bowl, mix salt, pepper, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika and cayenne pepper and rub all over meat.
3. Add chicken broth, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke to slow cooker and whisk it together. Place meat into slow cooker.
4. Slow cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours.

4. Shred with two forks, discarding excess fat. Toss in remaining juices and coat with barbecue sauce as desired. Serve on hamburger buns.
