How to Make Pork Rib Rub The pork rib rub is seriously so simple it feels funny to even call this a recipe. To make the dry rub mix, you simply put the cumin, chili powder, ground garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and sweetener in a small bowl. Mix all pork rib rub ingredients until combined.
The ingredients in this recipe are sweetener, kosher salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, turmeric, and chili powder. If you want the dry rub on the spicy side, you can kick it up with some ground cayenne pepper. For the sweetener, I used a sugar free sweetener to keep this BBQ rib rub keto.
Liberally coat the pork tenderloins with the smoked paprika rub. Heat a large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Add a few tablespoons of the oil of your choice. I usually spray it with an olive oil sprayer. Sear the pork on all four sides for the best crust.
This delicious low carb barbecue dry rub is one of the seasoning recipes from my cookbook – Craveable Keto. It is fantastic on ribs, chicken, steak, pork chops, or even prawns. Plus, it’s super quick and easy to whip up and without all the additives and sugar that you would typically find in a store-bought mix.
