    2. Cream together the sugar, butter, applesauce and egg. Then add the dry ingredients (baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon, oats and flour). When they are combined add the zucchini and chocolate chips.
    3. Spoon cookie dough onto a greased cookie sheet or baking mat. Space about 2 -3 inches apart.
    4. Bake for 10-12 minutes. When baked, allow to cool for a couple minutes on the tray and then place them on a cookie sheet to complete cooling. Eat when they are completely cool (you won't taste the zucchini when it's completely cooled). Makes approx. 4 dozen.
